NFT communities have seen their fair share of ups and downs but one thing is certain, NFTs have an undeniable impact on community building. Communities can gather around a common interest, goal, belief, or anything that brings them together. NFTs not only represent membership to these communities but work as a means of sharing the outcome of the community, even financially.
NFTs as Keys
NFTs can act as keys because they can act as a token of entry. Zentaurios uses this feature to allow holders of Zentaurios Legacy NFTs to use NFTs as Keys token gate a community with their own NFTs. This feature is young and will evolve to token gate individual pieces of content, collections of content, and even access to content to include in your content.
NFTs as keys is still young and is still a fairly new concept not only on Zentaurios but everywhere. However, it is being implemented more and more. People are already able to token communities on Discord, Telegram, and access to merchandise on platforms like Shopify. Also, an NFT itself can be the key to see content, like on Lens Protocol.
NFTs as Collectibles
NFTs can determine ownership of access or content like images, videos, text, or audio. People are already using NFTs to determine access to art, music, and podcasts. This ownership creates the ability to collect various online media whether it be art, songs, poems, or anything a person wants to attach to NFTs.
NFTs as Web3 Business
NFTs as a form of payment and access to goods or services can be incorporated into traditional business models and Web3 business models. We see this happening with Starbucks, Nike, and well, Instagram tried. However, it seems the Web3 community is yet to fully grasp this concept.
It seems, as people attach a story or as projects attach profit potential, a community is built. It seems, when the NFT is highlighted by its use and not its ownership, there is less interest. This is very interesting in that after the hype dies, everyone asks about the utility. So as “Web2 companies” incorporate Web3 technology and Web3 and NFTs discover their grand scale legitimacy, it will be interesting to see which small business come out as pioneers of Web3 business.
NFTs as Support
NFTs do not always have to be buyer focused. They can be used as a way to show support with the possibility of financial return in the future. Many people buy NFT art because they like the artist or their story. Owning a piece of art can act as support for the artist.
Zentaurios has been in operation for 8 months now. This has been a self funded attempt by the founder to grow the Web3 space in positive light. Zentaurios has uses for the NFTs including token gating a community with your NFTs. The entire series of apps could be token gated but, for now, the main open only requires a verification of an existing social media account, not ownership of an NFT.
This allows users to join the community before buying the NFT. This allows users to try it before they buy it. The only stipulation here is that the person is indeed who they say they are online. No fake accounts allowed on Zentaurios!
Why buy a Zentaurios Legacy NFT?
Zentaurios was specifically for Web3 businesses to bring all things important to their business into one profile. Your contract, your GitHub, your audit, your social media, your NFT marketplace links, and much more, all go onto your profile. This of course requires your to have these things.
Possibly the original app never needs to be token gated, but if it is, the NFTs guarantee access for the life of Zentaurios. The NFTs allow you to create a token gated profile.
The utility of the NFTs has no foreseeable end in accordance with the space map. It’s called a space map because it is always expanding. For example, automatic posting and interoperable social media content has already been tested. This will only go to NFT holders. One example, is cross platform videos sharing.
Zentaurios was built to support its community across many social medias and share its content. Things like profit sharing, staking pools, and giveaways are easy. These are the things that draw in NFT investors. But as a Web3 Media Business, Zentaurios is interested in attracting those that see the value in overlapping professional social networks, not giveaways and unsustainable financial models.
So, for now, the biggest use for the Legacy NFT may be showing support. Zentaurios has already shown it supports you.
That being said, Zentaurios is already way ahead of where most projects start. The utilities to come are not only brand building tools, but, some of them, have never been done before.
