Token gated posts are working on Zentaurios. This blog will go over how to token gate a post. Each post can be token gated with a different NFT, the same NFT for all posts, or don't token gate at all. If you have your own NFTs, try it out. But for those without a Zentaurios Legacy NFT, take haste, because soon, Zentaurios will token gate token gating.
This will be working soon though. It is working in development but, as has happened before in production, there is an issue. It will sorted. This post serves as an update but also will go over how to token gate a post.

How to Token Gate a Post on Zentaurios
Post creation will be the same as it before. The title, description, content, and image are still required. AltText and categories are not required but highly suggested. That being said, the post content is what will be token gated. If you are token gating your post, use the description field to describe your post. This helps people find your post but may also inspire people to research the NFT that grants access to the post. It is also SEO friendly to use the description field.
Edit: Recently the description was not required but now it is.
The above image is the Token Gating form. You MUST supply a contract address, blockchain, and minimum quainty of NFTs to access the post. It is OPTIONAL to include a link to where to purchase the access NFT.
Note in the top right the the Token Gate button is white (black in dark mode).
If you completed the required fields to token gate a post the Token Gate button will turn blue (pink in dark mode). There has also been a change that the Publish button will turn colors when you have completed the requirements to post.
And that's it. That is how you token a post on Zentaurios.

It is possible to set up token gating with Solana but one step at a time. Also, it is a very high interest to allow token gating using the Tezos blockchain. This requires a whole addtional wallet system though.
Next Steps
After wallet Sign In is working and token gating is fully functional, the priority will be connecting the wallet Sign In with the existing Zentaurios authentication system. This means you will be able to fully log into Zentaurios with your wallet. This will most likely have some sort of traditional account recovery system for verfied accounts. The reason for this is to recover your profile and content in the situation of losing access to a wallet.
From there, tipping will be brought in to Zentaurios.
The next step after that is waiting for the holders in The First Ever Token Gated Post on Zentaurios. It is not accessible at the time of this post but in a way it's kind of fun the announcement is revealed with the current update is finished. But check out that post for a sample how the token gated post will look for people who do not have the NFT.
There will be some videos, blogs, and Twitter Spaces going out when the token gating is fully working. And of course, this is just one of many things happening in the background.
