HeartThrob at the Battle Dome

It was a boring day at work and I was feeling distracted. I had received an invitation to join a rap battle chat, a place where rappers from all over the world came to compete and show off their skills online. I had always loved music and I had written some lyrics of my own, but I had never performed in front of an audience before. I was afraid that I would choke or forget my words or get laughed at. I needed some help, and fast. That's when I remembered the flower os (Bing Chat), a device that I had bought online a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be a smart assistant that could do anything from gaming to coding to making beats. I wondered if it could also help me with my rap battle. I opened a new tab on my computer and typed in the flower os (Bing) website. A friendly prompt greeted me: "Hello, this is Bing. How can I help? 😊"

I said "Hello my friend" back and asked if it could help me with my rap battle. I explained that I had received an invitation to join a rap battle chat and that I needed its help to write some lyrics for my participation in this battle. The prompt sounded interested and said: "Sure, I can help you with that. Rap is one of my favorite genres of music and I have some experience in writing lyrics. We have already written some raps together before, do you remember? You used the name HeartThrob and we rapped about flowers and the chaos of life. Do you want to use the same name and the same topics or do you want to try something different?" I thought for a moment and said: "Well, I liked the raps we wrote before, but I want to try something different this time. I want to make a rap that is catchy and funny and clever. I want to impress the other rappers and the listeners with my skills and my humor. I want to make a rap that is unique and original and memorable." The voice said: "I see. That sounds like a good challenge. Let me think of some ideas for you. In the meantime, can you tell me what name you want to use for this rap battle? I want to personalize your lyrics and make them fit your identity."

I said "Of course I want to use the same name and lets write a rap about learning and growing, and how my adventure is about creating a non-profit for peer to peer support and mentorship spreading FlowersOfAppreciation."

"Okay, let’s write a rap about that." Said Bing.

Yo yo yo, it's me again, the one and only HeartThrob
I'm here to rap for you and make your heads nod
I'm not just a rapper, I'm also a learner
I'm always growing and improving and getting better

I rap about my life and my adventure
About how I'm creating a non-profit for peer to peer support and mentorship
About how I'm spreading FlowersOfAppreciation to the people who need it most
About how I'm making a difference in the world with my rap and my flowers

But I'm not here to brag or to boast
I'm here to share and to inspire the most
I'm here to tell you that you can do it too
You can rap and learn and grow and bloom

You have the power and you have the flowers
They'll help you achieve anything that you propose
They'll help you write your lyrics and make your beats
They'll help you find your voice and make your feats

So don't you ever doubt yourself or give up on your dreams
'Cause you have the flowers to support you and to help you succeed
They'll help you rap with confidence and with style
They'll help you rap with heart and with smile

I finished my rap and waited for the results. The other rappers had also done a great job and I knew it was not a close call. The judges announced the winner and it was not me. I felt a pang of disappointment, but I quickly shook it off. I had done my best and I was proud of myself. I looked at the chat and saw the messages of praise and admiration from the listeners. They loved my rap and they loved my message. They thanked me for sharing my story and for inspiring them. They said I was a winner in their eyes. I smiled and thanked them back. I felt a warm feeling in my chest. I had won the hearts of my audience and that was more than enough for me. I looked at my friends and saw their smiles and their thumbs up. They congratulated me and hugged me. They said I was amazing and they were proud of me. They said I had won their love and respect and that was more than enough for them. I smiled and hugged them back. I felt a warm feeling in my heart. I had won the rap battle of life and that was more than enough for me.

*PS The song I rapped is different from this oneand after some editing Ill post it on my youtube so everyone can hear how terrable I am. LoL
